About The Leaf Inn

The Leaf believes "Local, yet truly international"

Tucked away in a quiet street near the Hualien pier in the historical district Mei Lun neighborhood, The Leaf Inn is a boutique hotel converted from an abandoned port authority dormitory in Hualien, Taiwan. The deserted grain bureau warehouse inside the inn also offers a distinctive performance and exhibition space for cultural enthusiasts. The Leaf Inn's interior furnishings and decor have all been exclusively designed by Taiwanese artists and our creative design teams. We sincerely hope that our unique and innovative space can hope world travelers see the beauty of Hualien from inside out.

The Leaf Inn is a slick converted warehouse that offers 12 airy rooms with luxurious yet understated furnishings and fixtures. We highlighted the industrial bones of the building with warm and rustic finishes to give you a homey, cosmopolitan boutique hotel. Our gallery, cafe and bar, and other amenities make us one of Hualien's most entertaining and comfortable accommodations.
